Solarvalue issues Annual Report for 2007
Small scale production laboratory starts operations – prove of process abiliy initiated
Solarvalue AG’s annual report for fiscal year 2007 is now available to download from the Internet under www.solarvalue.com. Due to increasing number of investors outside Germany the company for the first time provides an English version. A printed copy can be requested directly from the company.
“In 2007 we again had an exciting and rewarding year for our young company. Important milestones were achieved during the build-up of the company which will significantly influence the future development and success of Solarvalue AG. Also for the current fiscal year, we have a lot on our agenda. In addition to starting production in our plant in Slovenia in the second half of calendar year 2008 and achieving the first revenues from the sales of solar silicon we will continue to pursue our plan to build a value adding, integrated solar group through targeted collaborations and acquisitions.” Ms Claudia Boehringer, Chairman and CEO of Solarvalue AG, said and added the following: “In the last few months we have built our own laboratory size production facility in the US. This facility has recently started operations directed at testing metallurgical grade silicon from a variety of potential suppliers, as well as evaluating the ability of the Solarvalue production process to refine this purchased silicon into solar grade silicon in our Slovenia plant. We expect to produce the first small quantities of solar grade silicon samples in the very near future.”
